Taiwan’s stainless mills hike prices for July sales

Stainless steel producers in Taiwan have raised their stainless list prices for both domestic and export sales for July, given signs that the nickel price is recovering and demand among stainless users is improving, Mysteel Global learned from the market on Friday.
Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco), a top stainless producer headquartered in Kaohsiung in South Taiwan, haslifted its list prices of 300-series hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless coils by TWD 1,000/tonne ($33/t) month on month for sales in July.
