China’s HBIS raises longs prices for early July sales

Hebei Iron & Steel Group (HBIS), the country’s second largest steelmaker after China Baowu Group and headquartered at Shijiazhuang, North China’s Hebei province, is raising its list prices for sales during July 1-10 by Yuan 40-200/tonne ($5.8-29/t), according to the company’s latest pricing policy announced Tuesday. The increases compare with the prior ten-days sales period and apply to all long steel products – chiefly rebar, wire rod and bar-in-coil.
During the period, HBIS will offer its HRB 400E 12-14mm dia rebar at Yuan 4,220/t, up by Yuan 60/t from June 21-30, its HPB300 8-10mm dia high speed wire rod at Yuan 4,770/t, higher by Yuan 40/t, and its HRB 400E 8-10mm dia bar-in-coil at Yuan 4,460/t, up by a
