Anglo’s Q3 met coal output rises to 6.6 million t

Anglo American’s production of export metallurgical coal from its assets in Australia increased by 12% on quarter or 22% on year to reach 6.6 million tonnes over the July-September quarter, according to the company’s quarterly report published on October 22. The miner attributed the rise generally to improved wash plant throughput and equipment productivity.
