Turkey: Imported Scrap Prices Inch Up, Trades Stay Slow

After staying majorly unchanged for around 2 weeks, imported scrap prices to Turkey have marginally inched up, after a couple of deep-sea cargo bookings completed in the recent days, SteelMint learned from market participants On account of very active bookings earlier in Oct’19, the buying activity now has slowed down in the last few weeks, even as the prices have more-or-less remained flat after rebounding by USD 32-33/MT in the previous month.
