WEEKLY: Coking coal import stocks at ports up to 7 mln t

Total inventories of imported coking coal at the five major Chinese ports Mysteel surveys weekly grew by 190,000 tonnes or 3% on week to 7 million tonnes over November 29-December 5, according to Mysteel’s data published on December 6, with the rise bringing an end to two straight weeks of decline.
The growth in stocks occurred chiefly at Rizhao and Lianyungang ports in East China, with inventories of imported coking coal there surging by a total of 380,000 tonnes or nearly 24% on week to reach 1.6 million tonnes, Mysteel’s data shows.
