WEEKLY: China’s steel FOB prices pick up, trade poor

Chinese steel exporters raised their offer prices last week amid strengthening domestic sales, but their willingness to export remained poor and the trade continued to be slack, according to Mysteel’s latest weekly report.
Over the survey period of May 10-15, China’s export price of SS400 4.75mm hot-rolled coil increased $5/tonne to $405/t FOB Bayuquan port, after remaining stable for two weeks.
