Offering prices for iron ore concentrates from Chinese miners in major ore-producing regions strengthened by Yuan 10-52/tonne ($1.4-7.3/t) over May 18-22, following the surge in prices of imported iron ore during the period. Domestic steel mills in these regions mostly agreed to pay more for their concentrates, given their high demand, Mysteel Global learned.
