China’s FeSi prices weaken with negative sentiment

Chinese ferrosilicon prices resumed tacking downward from mid-July as domestic market sentiment turned negative, with the price of 75% grade FeSi reaching Yuan 5,529/tonne ($789/t) including the 13% VAT as of July 29, lower by Yuan 120/t from the recent high recorded on July 10, according to Mysteel’s data.
