CISA: member mills’ daily output dips 1.1% in early Sept

The daily steel output among the member mills of the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) over September 1-10 declined at a faster rate of 1.1% from the last eleven days of August to 2.14 million tonnes/day on average, though the year-on-year comparison still posted a gain of 6.7%, according to the latest release by CISA on September 14.
The daily crude steel output over September 1-10 was also 0.55% lower than the August average, despite the overall market optimism about better domestic steel demand in September.
