NBS: China’s Sept manufacturing PMI rebounds to 51.5

China’s Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for the manufacturing industry rebounded by 0.5 basis point to 51.5 in September after a slight dip in August, indicating that performance of the manufacturing industry improved this month, according to the latest release of China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on September 30.
The key sub-indices such as production and new orders posted on-month gains, with the former up 0.5 basis point to 54 and the latter up 0.8 basis point to 52.8, according to the NBS data.
In September, the sub-indices for new orders both for imports and exports rebounded to above the
