BI-WEEKLY: China mills’ iron ore stocks rise, use dips

Stocks of iron ore sintering fines held by the 64 Chinese steel mills regularly surveyed by Mysteel increased over October 9-21, new survey results published on October 22 show. However, daily consumption of these fines among the same mills declined during the fortnight.
Over the two weeks to October 21, inventories of
imported fines held by the surveyed mills edged up by 163,800 tonnes or 1% on
fortnight to 16.2 million tonnes.
