Tokyo Steel Manufacturing, Japan’s top electric-arc-furnace steel producer, posted a 15% on-year decline in its carbon finished steel sales over April-September to 1.05 million tonnes, which fulfilled the company’s sales target after taking into consideration of the adverse impact of the COVID-19, according to its latest financial report released on October 23.
