CISA: Member mills’ late Nov daily output eases 0.4%

Daily crude steel output among the member mills of the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) decreased further over November 21-30 to an average of 2.11 million tonnes/day, down by another 0.4% from that for the prior ten days, according to the association’s latest data released on December 3.
The continuous decline indicated that production among China’s medium- and large-sized steel mills had decreased somewhat in response to slowing demand from end-users in the traditional off-season for steel consumption, Mysteel Global notes. On the other hand, steel output among the sampled mills still stayed at a relatively high level compared with the same period
