The total volume of iron ore dispatched to global destinations from the 19 ports and 16 mining companies in Australia and Brazil fell to its 11-month low of 19.8 million tonnes over January 18-24, or having declined for the fourth week by another 1.6 million tonnes or 7.4% on week, and both countries posted weekly declines with Australia having refreshed its 11-month low in the dispatch volume.
Over the survey period, Australian iron ore shipments from its ten ports bound for global destinationsdecreased for the fourth week by 1.3 million tonnes or 8.6% on week to 14 million tonnes, and Brazil shipped about 5.7 million tonnes of iron ore from its nine ports worldwide, reversing down after
