MYMETAL: China’s lead prices grow, demand still weak


Spot prices of primary and second lead across China increased over July 19-23, according to Mymetal, Mysteel’s nonferrous metals market intelligence arm, mainly in response to changes in futures prices, market watchers said.
As of July 23, the national price of primary lead ingot (at least 99.994%) had gained Yuan 260/tonne ($40.2/t) on week to reach Yuan 15,995/t including the 13% VAT, according to Mymetal’s assessment. As of the same day, the average price of secondary lead (at least 99.99%) nationwide had climbed
