Taiwan CSC hikes some list prices for Oct, Q4 sales


China Steel Corp (CSC), the largest steel mill in Taiwan, is raising some of its steel list prices for sales in October and for this year’s last quarter to offset higher raw material costs and to narrow the gap with global prices, according to the company’s pricing policy released on September 15.
For monthly sales in October, the Kaohsiung-headquartered mill in South Taiwan decided to lift list prices for its electrical steel coil by TWD 500/tonne ($18/t) on month, the release stated. Prices of all other products including hot-rolled coil (HRC), cold-rolled coil (CRC) and hot-dipped galvanized coil remain unchanged. Meanwhile, the company has raised most steel list
