China’s ferrosilicon prices at historical high


China’s price of 75% grade FeSi assessed by Mysteel reached a historical high of Yuan 11,850/tonne ($1,832/t) including the 13% VAT as of September 18, jumping by Yuan 1,360/t from September 13. The limited output from smelters and firm demand from steelmakers pushed up FeSi prices, market sources said.
