BI-WEEKLY: China mines' iron ore output at 21-month low


Over October 5-18, daily production of iron ore concentrates among the 186 Chinese mining companies surveyed by Mysteel touched a low since February 2020, declining to 448,000 tonnes/day. Market sources attributed the decline to miners' disrupted production due to emergency curbs in some regions.
Daily output dropped for the fourth week by 5,800 t/d or 1.3% on a fortnight, Mysteel's data showed.
