SHFE's copper and nickel prices rise, aluminum drops


When the daytime trading session of November 19 ended, the most-traded copper and nickel contracts on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed higher on week, while the bourse's most-traded aluminum contract closed lower.
On Friday, SHFE's January 2022 copper contract grew by Yuan 40/tonne ($6.3/t) from the settlement price of November 12, closing the daytime session at Yuan 70,510/t, while the nickel contract for December 2021 delivery surged to Yuan 147,440/t, up Yuan 1,090/t on week.
