WEEKLY: Imported met coal prices to China on downtrend


Over November 22-26, China's imported coking coal prices for both those by sea and from Mongolia stayed on the downtrend, largely due to the remaining weak demand from the Chinese end-users including steel mills and coking plants as well as from traders, sources shared.
On November 26, the price of premium medium-volatile (PMV) coking coal under Mysteel's assessment mainly with non-Australian coal trading as references dropped $21/tonne on week to $385/t CFR North China, though the pace slowed from the prior week's $116.5/t on-week plunge.   Last Friday, the price of raw Mongolian coal with 18% ash, 28% volatile
