GACC: China's 2021 steel exports rise only 25% YoY


China exported 66.9 million tonnes of finished steel in 2021, up 25% on year, according to the latest release of General Administration of Customs (GACC) on January 14. However, though the increase was impressive, the total volume was nonetheless the lowest since 2014 except for 2020 thanks to Beijing's removal of steel export rebates last year, market sources noted.
