DAILY: China's rebar price rises further, sales improve

ABSTRACT

On April 18, China's national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar under Mysteel's assessment grew further for the fifth working day though at a slower pace of just Yuan 1/tonne ($0.2/t) on day. Meanwhile, spot sales of construction steel including rebar continued to increase by 20.75% on day, as some end-users had to fulfill their replenishment needs despite the recent price increment.
