Japan's stainless flat sales down 2.3% on year in March

ABSTRACT

In March, Japan's domestic sales of stainless flats including hot-rolled (HR) and cold-rolled (CR) coils and sheets among 32 major coil centers declined by 2.3% on year to 58,642 tonnes, according to the latest data released by Japan Stainless Coil Centers Association (JSCA). Nevertheless, market sources still believed that the supply tightness would remain.
