WEEKLY: China coke-plant coke stocks rise to 4-week high

Total coke stocks at the 230 Chinese independent coking plants under Mysteel's regular survey mounted for the second week during June 24-30, rising by 60,400 tonnes or 11% on week to 615,100 tonnes to hit a four-week high. Stocks rose chiefly because of softened coke sales, despite the reduction in coke output during the survey period, sources said.
