China restates commitment to low-carbon steelmaking


Carbon reduction in steel industry is key to China's commitment to reach its '2C' goals, namely carbon emission peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060, according to Zhang Haideng, deputy director of the raw material department of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
