Major SHFE metals prices drop on week


As of August 19, the most-traded copper, aluminum and nickel contracts on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) had all declined on week at the end of these metals' daytime trading sessions that day, the exchange's data showed.
By Friday, the SHFE's most-traded September copper contract had fallen Yuan 740/tonne ($108.7/t) from the previous Friday's settlement price to close at Yuan 61,980/t at the end of daytime trading session.   In the meantime, the September aluminum contract slipped Yuan 245/t during the same period to close at Yuan 18,425/t, and
