WEEKLY: China's washed met coal output down to 6-w low

Total output of processed coking coal recorded by the 110 Chinese independent and affiliated wash plants under Mysteel’s regular survey declined by 17,400 tonnes/day or 2.7% on week to 630,200 t/d as of October 27, a six-week low. The decline was mainly due to lower output from independent plants and the safety checks in Shanxi which have impacted mining operations in the province, according to Mysteel’s survey.
