MYSTEEL: China's FeSi prices rebound on output declines

ABSTRACT

China's price of 75% grade FeSi assessed by Mysteel had reversed up after seven weeks of declines as of November 26, growing by Yuan 102/tonne ($16/t) on week to Yuan 8,564/t and including the 13% VAT. A reduction of output among smelters lent some support to FeSi prices, market sources said.
In line with the rise in spot prices, the most-traded FeSi futures contract on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange for January 2022 delivery closed the daytime trading session on November 26 at Yuan 8,666/t, up by Yuan 370/t from the settlement price on November 19, according to ZCE data.   Daily FeSi output
