SHFE's Cu and Ni prices down, Al rises


The most-traded copper and nickel contracts on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed lower on week when the daytime trading session ended on January 28, SHFE's data showed, while the exchange's most-traded aluminum contract recorded an on-week increase.
By January 28, SHFE's most-traded March 2022 copper contract had dropped by Yuan 1,000/tonne ($157.3/t) from the settlement price on January 21, closing the daytime trading session at Yuan 70,290/t, while the exchange's most-traded nickel contract - also for March 2022 delivery - plunged by Yuan 11,600/t during the same
