MONTHLY: China's SiMn output climbs further in June

Production of silicomanganese (SiMn) in China rose again during June, with the total tonnage edging up for a second successive month by 6,293 tonnes or 0.8% on month to reach 794,415 tonnes, according to Mysteel's latest survey among the 187 Chinese SiMn smelters it tracks.

China's manganese ore prices remain weak

China's manganese ore prices remained weak during the period of July 1-7, with Mysteel assessing the price of South Africa-origin 36.5% grade manganese ore at North China's Tianjin port at Yuan 36.5/dmtu ($5.4/dmtu) including the 13% VAT on July 7, down by Yuan 0.3/dmtu from one week before.

WEEKLY: China's SiMn prices keep rangebound, output dips

China's silicomanganese (SiMn) prices kept rangebound during the week of June 29-July 3, with the national price of 6517 SiMn under Mysteel's assessment standing at Yuan 5,631/tonne ($829/t) including the 13% VAT, edging down Yuan 2/t from one week before.
