WEEKLY: Run rates at China's coal wash plants rise for 4th week

Run rates observed by the 110 Chinese independent and affiliated coking coal wash plants under Mysteel's regular tracking rose by a tiny 0.73 percentage point on week during May 29-June 4 to average 69.55%, marking the fourth straight weekly increase. The uptick, albeit mild, had sent the average run rate to a four-month high, Mysteel's latest survey results show.

During the same survey week, daily output of washed coal at these plants was higher by 8,050 tonnes/day or 1.4% on week at 591,300 t/d on average, the survey data indicate.
