China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 5,476/tonne as of September 4, up Yuan 9/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 5,249/t today, up Yuan 18/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices rose further, but the transactions did not improve. The demand remained lackluster.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 43,575 tonnes on September 3, up 3.65% from the last trading day. In detail, the sales volume was 18,795 tonnes in East China, up 9.68%, 13,377 tonnes in South China, up 5.81%, and 10,059 tonnes in North China, down 5.52%, according to OilChem data.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to stabilize after the recent hikes, as the downstream players purchase mostly on rigid demand.
