China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 5,139/tonne as of September 25, down Yuan 36/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 5,205/t today, down Yuan 3/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices were soft primarily due to poor downstream demand amidst slow stockpiling.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 34,608 tonnes on September 24, down 4.96% from the last trading day. In detail, the sales volume was 12,810 tonnes in East China, down 7.29%, 11,865 tonnes in South China, up 2.17%, and 8,400 tonnes in North China, down 11.31%, according to OilChem data.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to inch up as the producers' inventory has been falling recently on smooth shipment.
