Outlook:
The ternary precursor prices stabilized, while the overall transactions were still sluggish. Meanwhile, the demand for ternary cathode material factories was moderate and most producers purchased according to needs amid long-term orders. In addition, ternary precursor enterprises may adjust its production plans based on orders in November. Thus the prices of ternary precursor are likely to run weakly in the short period.
The prices of ternary cathode materials were little changed. Moreover, some companies have accumulated inventory in the early stage and may cut the production further in November due to the weak demand. In addition, the demand in the e-bike market was better, but price competition was still fierce. Thus market transactions were still among long-term agreements, and the price of ternary cathode materials is expected to run weakly next month.
