WEEKLY: China's HRC export prices stay firm for 4th week

China's hot-rolled coil (HRC) export market remained generally stable in the past week, with minimal changes in mills quotations and limited interest from cautious buyers, Mysteel's weekly market roundup shows.

As of February 14, the Chinese export price of SS400 3mm HRC under Mysteel's assessment registered $472/tonne FOB from North China's Tianjin port, staying unchanged for four consecutive weeks. Demand for HRC stays relatively weak after the Chinese New Year holiday, failing to support any increase in its export prices, noted a staff member from an eastern China
