DAILY: DCE futures boost China's imported iron ore portside market

China's imported iron ore prices saw another uptick on February 19, lifted by improved sentiment from gains in Dalian's iron ore futures.

On Wednesday, Mysteel's PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao increased by Yuan 2/wmt ($0.3/wmt) to Yuan 816/wmt FOT, including 13% VAT. Meanwhile, Mysteel's SEADEX 62% Australian Fines remained unchanged on day at $107.2/dmt CFR Qingdao. In the derivatives market, the most-traded May iron ore contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange rose by
