Nickel futures prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) and London Metal Exchange (LME) saw substantial rises recently as market players responded to the depreciation of the U.S. dollar and expectations for lower nickel supply, Mysteel Global learned.
As of December 7, the most-traded nickel contract on the SHFE for delivery in January 2023 strengthened for the seventh working day and closed at Yuan 207,650/tonne ($29,798/t), soaring by Yuan 14,960/t from the settlement price on November 28.   During the same period, the LME three-month nickel buyers' price jumped
