DAILY: China's portside thermal coal heads down on cautious mood

China's spot thermal coal prices at northern ports moved downwards last Friday, as more portside traders intended to sell off the cargoes given end-buyers' continued wait-and-see stance.

On September 22, the offers for the 5,500 kcal/kg NAR thermal coal dropped by Yuan 20/tonne ($2.7/t) on day to Yuan 1,010-1,030/t, while the 5,000 kcal/kg and 4,500 Kcal/kg NAR thermal coal both dipped by Yuan 10/t on day to Yuan 890-910/t and Yuan 750-770/t, respectively, all on FOB
