The resumption time of secondary lead enterprises in China after the Spring Festival was not so different from that of previous years. The production is expected to fully resume after February 5, according to Mysteel's survey of 63 secondary lead producers with an annual capacity of 7.47 million tonnes.

According to the survey, most enterprises are still in shutdown and need time to recover. While large-scale ones resume better since 33% of them maintained normal production or just reduce production a little during the Spring Festival.
The resumption time of secondary lead producers is mainly concentrated in two periods. One is from January 28 to 31, slightly earlier than last year, accounting for 15.87% which is up by 6.87% year on year. Some refining enterprises even resumed production on January 27 to complete the production for orders received before the Spring Festival. Another is after February 5 (the Lantern Festival), accounting for 17.46% which is down by 3.54% year on year.
