China melamine export volume was 60,000 tonnes in March, up 14,100 tonnes or 30.83% month-on-month, mainly owing to sufficient production and sluggish demand in China.

In terms of export destination, the top 5 were India, Thailand, Brazil, Turkey and Vietnam. Total export volume of these five countries were 31,882.94 tonnes, accounting for 53.15% of total.

In addition, China melamine export volume may be around 50,000 tonnes in April, down about 17% month-on-month, since the production may inch down on decreasing capacity utilization rate.
