CONF: Automotive steel drives towards high strength, low carbon development

The need for automotive steel to deliver high strength but with a low carbon footprint is increasing among global auto manufacturers, according to Zhong Shaoliang, deputy director general of the World Steel Association (WSA) and chief representative of its Beijing office, but competition from materials offering the same attributes is growing.
