In September, the production and sales of electric vehicles reached 1.307 million and 1.287 million units respectively, an increase of 48.8% and 42.3% year-on-year. The sales of EVs accounted for 45.8% of the total sales of new vehicles.
Over January to September, the production and sales of EVs went up 31.7% and 32.5% YoY to 8.316 million and 8.32 million units respectively, The sales of EVs accounted for 38.6% of the total sales of new vehicles.
