South Africa coal exports rise 2.1% YoY, down 8.6% MoM in Sept

South Africa's coal exports worldwide in September totalled 5.74 million tonnes, rising marginally by 2.1% on year and 8.6% on month, according to the latest figures released by the South African Revenue Service.

Within the total, exports of thermal coal (including bituminous coal, other coal and lignite) during September stood at 5.73 million tonnes, marking a 2.8% rise on year yet falling 6.1% from August.
