China's lithium carbonate production stood at 59,000 tonnes in October, down 3.6% MoM, per Mysteel survey. Production in Sichuan remained stable, with several upgraded production lines coming online. In the recycling sector, some companies ramped up production to meet annual targets. However, output in Jiangxi fell slightly due to raw material shortages, and Qinghai faced seasonal limitations with brine and freshwater access.

China's lithium carbonate production will likely fall 0.1% MoM at 58,900 tonnes in November. Following the National Day holiday, price adjustments encouraged hedging activity among companies. In Qinghai, technical upgrades may continue to limit output, which will likely keep November's production steady month-on-month.
