In November, China's ternary precursors production dropped 0.22% MoM and rose 14% YoY to 67,600 tonnes. In November, the demand for CATL and overseas market both remained stable. Meanwhile, some ternary precursor enterprises increased their output at the end of the year, resulting in a slow monthly decline in production compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.
The estimated production of China's ternary precursors in December is 63,600 tonnes, with a decline of 5.92% MoM and an increase of 10.13% YoY. Moreover, the fourth quarter has been in the traditional off-season, and at the same time, there is a slight decrease in demand from CATL and overseas in December, resulting in a decline in the expected production of ternary precursors.
