ChinaIOL: China's white goods output to total 29 mln units in Feb

The scheduled production of China's three most popular home appliances - air-conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines - is predicted to reach 29.14 million units in total this month, according to asurvey released by ChinaIOL.com, a leading domestic information provider serving the home appliance and refrigeration industries.

If realised, the volume would represent a 30.6% jump compared to the actual production of these three white goods during last February, the Beijing-based provider estimates. Their respective scheduled production volumes this month will all post significant growth on year, partly due to a lower base in February 2024 as the prior Chinese New Year holiday falling in that month affected home appliance production
