On February 16th, at the 2nd China All Solid State Battery Innovation and Development Summit Forum, Liu Fangyang, Chief Scientist of Hunan Enjie, stated that the company's development of lithium sulfide and solid electrolytes is currently in the pilot stage. It is expected to build a 100-tonne lithium sulfide pilot line, a 10-tonne sulfur halide solid electrolyte pilot line, and an electrolyte membrane pilot production line by the end of 2024-2025. It is expected to enter the mass production stage by the end of 2026-27, with the construction of a 1,000-tonne lithium sulfide mass production line and a 1,000-tonne sulfur halide solid electrolyte quality production line, achieving mass production of ultra-thin sulfur halide electrolytes. (Note: Hunan Enjie is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SEMCORP.)
