On March 26, LG Energy Solution announced a strategic partnership with Delta Electronics to expand the residential energy storage system (ESS) market in the United States. According to the statement, LG Energy Solution will supply a total of 4 gigawatt-hours of residential ESS batteries from 2025 to 2030, enough to provide daily electricity for over 400,000 households. These batteries will be produced by LG Energy Solution in the U.S.
