Daily: China LNG price declines amid bearish outlook

China spot LNG delivery price averaged at Yuan 6,471/tonne on February 23, down Yuan 66/t from previous trading day.


Imported LNG ex-terminal price was at Yuan 6,536/t, down Yuan 23/mt from previous trading day, with supply increment expectation and low buying.


LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 29,652 tonnes on February 22, an increase of 14.05% from previous trading day. That in East China was 16,506 tonnes, up 16.96%, 6,426 tonnes in South China, up 3.73%, and 5,376 tonnes in North China, up 16.36% from previous trading day, according to OilChem's data.


Domestic LNG ex-work price was at Yuan 5,996/t in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, down Yuan 126/t from previous trading day, amid increasing production and soft vehicle demand, data from OilChem showed.
