Domestic production of iron ore concentrates among the 186 Chinese mining enterprises under Mysteel's regular survey averaged 500,700 tonnes/day over October 20-November 2, generally unchanged on fortnight, as maintenance stoppages and production restarts took place simultaneously across the country. Output had dipped by just 0.02% from the previous period, the survey results showed.
Accordingly, the average concentrating capacity utilization rate among the sampled miners was also largely unchanged at 64.1% on fortnight during the latest survey period.
